Perfect for this time dealing with a pandemic and the time of #stayhome, the CentrIQ app makes it easy to finally get all of those home appliances and maintenance needs organized! No more having to keep a box or binder of paperwork, digging through receipts. With this free app homeowners are able to "Snap it. Solve it. Done."
"Just snap a picture of the appliances, electronics, and tools in your home. We’ll add the user manuals, warranties, how-to-videos and more. Personalize and group all your information to make it as unique as your home," says their website, mycentriq.com.
Available for both Apple and Google products, the app is a free download. Creating an account is simple and straightforward. Once you're logged in, begin adding your appliances and electronics. CentrIQ automatically adds user manuals and how-to videos. When you're ready to get rid of paperwork, take photos of it and add it to the app. They even allow you to save it to the cloud so if your phone is lost or ruined your data is safe and secure.
While there are a lot of pros to this app, there were some minor glitches in the menu and the 'Find a Pro' feature is not self-contained (they merely forward you to another website, so you leave the app to complete the search). Overall, it's a great opportunity to get-organized and save homeowners from future headaches!
